Addiction is difficult to experience not only for the individual with the substance use disorder, but also for their family. Addiction damages relationships and creates negative consequences that can be lasting. Since 2008, The Lodge has provided addiction recovery support and has found that when families heal together it helps to support the recovery process long term. It is important for families to address any underlying issues in their relationships that may have contributed to or worsened the addiction.

When we send someone home after their stay at The Lodge, we know we are sending home a different person than the person we received, and that can be challenging when the family hasn’t healed together. We have seen firsthand the benefits of families healing through the recovery process to show that the increased outcomes of long-term success. To that end we are offering a Recovery Reset, a 14 day program that gives family the opportunity to explore some of the tools needed to start opening communication, setting boundaries, and healing relationships.
